Viewfinder draws inspiration from obsolete and forgotten film cameras, delving into the untapped potential of these tools that once captured cherished memories. Just as humans accumulate experiences that shape their identities both outwardly and inwardly, cameras bear the marks of time. Our vision and memories may fade, and our physical and mental scars may blur, until ultimately, we too may be forgotten.

Utilizing microscopy objectives and high magnification micro lenses, this series captures the intricate features of viewfinders and flash units in an abstract construct. These images highlight the smallest details that, much like in life, profoundly shape our experiences and perceptions. Through this meticulous examination, "Viewfinder" invites viewers to appreciate the nuanced complexity and artistry embedded in elements often overlooked, paralleling how subtle details influence and define our lives.

Each image in this series is created to be displayed on transparencies, inviting viewers to experience them from multiple angles. This presentation mirrors the fluidity of time and memory, as they ebb and flow, much like viewing a camera from both the front and the back.
